Skeleton Layer

The Sense of Self unit continues...

The skeleton layer is applied. Since we had a real bone on site that the children documented, we already had a true bone color to use. Rather than plain white, the children discovered that a real bone has shades of brown and gray. We did resist applying a layer of moss, thinking that bones still on the inside of a body didn't have time to grow such a thing.

After this layer, the internal organs are safely supported and protected by strong bones!
